For quite a while my static site, by which I mean the warehouse, the place that holds all the resources but doesn’t talk itself up in public like a blog, has been hosted by Magix, and for various reasons it’s become time to move on. I’m familiar with WordPress (up to a point – three themes and I still can’t get the colours right!) so it’s arriving here in small parts like hand luggage as I pack up chunks of text, try to find the photos that go with them, and hope nothing gets held up on a baggage carousel somewhere in Dubai.
WordPress doesn’t host co.uk domains and so it also has a slightly different moniker – conboyhill.com instead of conboy-hill.co.uk. I’m holding out for a sophisticated dark green/blue background. I know.
